Firstly Welcome to my Web-blog.

To start off my name is Lewis and I am pleased to make your acquaintance.

I have for the last 3 years  been studying a bachelor of technology at the University of Western Sydney New South Wales Australia, I am planning to graduate with a major in web-development.

My two Passionate areas are web-development, office applications. 

My own personal goal over the course of 2008 is to improve my experience and competence with office object model with particular emphasis on developing skills using VSTO (visual studio tools for office). This blog will feature more on this endeavour through 2008.

My university is a Microsoft aligned institution and as such my strongest languages are VB and C#, with ASP.net the main focus of my attention.

I have personally explored the use of JavaScript on client side web-development as may be witnessed by some of my projects and favourite links .

My favourite literature is Sci-Fi  but I do admit to enjoying the occasional thriller.

I have spent 3 years in work since finishing a vocation diploma in business management in the late half of 2002, or as I like to refer to it my time at the bottom. In 2006 I decided that university and education was the way to create advancement.

I do cherish my time in the workplace, it has constantly given me advantage over younger and less experienced students and YES I am a competitive personality.

I am currently completing my fourth year of university, and working part time for AIR (Australasian Investment Review).
